General Secretary of the People’s National Party, Dr Dayton Campbell, has won the defamation lawsuit brought against political activist Karen Cross and bloggers Natalee Stack and Michelle Stern.

In his claim brought before the Supreme Court, Dr. Campbell had accused the women of making false comments about him on social media.

After hearing submissions in the case, the court ruled in his favor.

A date is to be set for damages to be assessed in the matter.

Meantime, Ms. Cross has been ordered by the court to remove the defamatory posts from social media.

The three defendants have also been restrained from publishing or communicating on social media or any other media the contents that were the subject of the claim.

The defendants were granted leave to appeal the ruling.
