Mayor of Mandeville, Donovan Mitchell will represent the People’s National Party (PNP) as the candidate for Central Manchester in the next general elections.

Out-going caretaker for the constituency, Senator Peter Bunting, made the announcement, at the PNP’s annual conference in Manchester, last evening.

In endorsing Mr. Mitchell, Mr. Bunting noted that the mayor is a suitable candidate and a great leader.

In April this year, Senator Bunting announced that he would not be seeking re-election in the next general election.
