DJ Mac defends new school Dancehall
Producer DJ Mac has chalked up people’s short attention spans, easy access to music, and the generational gap as key reasons it may appear that today’s music doesn’t have the same impact as before.
During his Road To Success interview with Kshema Francis on the Easy Skankin show on Thursday, DJ Mac addressed critics who believe that new school music is disposable.
DJ Mac is also gearing up to head to Europe for SummerJam—the largest European reggae festival, held annually in Cologne, Germany.
The ‘Fiesta’ producer, who is currently promoting his upcoming EP Ups and Downs, is set to release new music with Shenseea next week.
