DJ Khaled brought the fire to Dancehall Thursdays last night, dropping dubplates from Sizzla, Buju Banton, Capleton, and Bounty Killer, electrifying the crowd.

During the event, Major Mackerel presented DJ Khaled with a trophy, thanking him for his contribution to the culture.

On his verified Instagram account, Khaled shared several videos of his performance with his 38.9 million followers. In the comment section, one fan wrote, “Dem nuh understand the man’s love for Dancehall. People fi give him his respect because he truly loves Dancehall and embraces Jamaica’s culture as his own.”

Another commented, “To how the man heart clean him still play Sizzla dub plate.”

This return to Jamaica comes nearly two years after Sizzla publicly burned DJ Khaled’s We The Best platinum plaques on December 8, 2022, citing that his name was printed in a font too small compared to Khaled’s.
