Dispute between cousins leaves 2 yr old dead in Trelawny
A dispute between two cousins in Mack Hill, Trelawny on Sunday night, left a two year old boy dead.
The deceased has been identified as Adrian Jerome Campbell of the same community.
Police report that around 8:12 p-m, young Adrian was seated in the back of a motor vehicle with his step father, when a man pounced upon them and fired several shots at the vehicle.
Adrian was shot in the process, however, his step father was unharmed.
Adrian was pronounced dead at hospital.
Head of the Trelawny police, Superintendent Winston Milton, said the incident allegedly followed an argument between the child’s step father and the attacker.
He said the inability to resolve conflicts amicably in the parish continues.
He said the attacker is now in custody.
