Telecommunications provider Digicel is anticipating that its network restoration following the passage of Hurricane Beryl will be completed by the end of this month.

While things are almost back to normal for the provider with virtually all its customers back online, Head of Communications at Digicel, Elon Parkinson, notes that work is still underway on seven sites that were destroyed by the hurricane.

He says the company is in the rebuilding phase and that equipment to facilitate the final repairs is en route to the island.

Mr. Parkinson adds that customers who are still having issues should see improvements over the next two weeks.
