Demarco withdraws from Reggae Jam Festival, cites unfulfilled contractual obligations
Dancehall artiste Demarco has announced that he will no longer appear at this year’s Reggae Jam Festival in Germany, stating that commitments outlined in his performance agreement were not honored.
The artiste made the announcement via social media, informing fans that he has withdrawn from the event after efforts to resolve the matter proved unsuccessful.
According to Demarco, both he and his management team worked to reach an amicable solution, but ultimately decided they had no alternative but to cancel his scheduled appearance.
While stopping short of providing specific details, the entertainer said he intends to address the situation during a live broadcast, where he will offer fans further clarification.
Demarco ended his statement by expressing gratitude to supporters for their patience and understanding, while using thehashtags #RespectTheCulture and #HonourYourContract.

At the time of publication, the organizers of the Reggae Jam Festival had not publicly responded to Demarco’s claims.
The festival, which began on July 23, will run until July 26.
