Demarai Gray could join the Saudi Arabian pro league team Al-hilal
Newly minted Reggae Boy Demarai Gray could be the latest player from the English premier league to join the Saudi Arabian pro league after reports claiming Al-hilal will ‘hold negotiations to sign him next week’.
Gray, who joined Everton in 2021, has gone on to play 75 times for the toffees………..and has dazzled the Goodison Park faithful with his excellent technical abilities and creativity in attack.
However, it appears his brilliance on the ball has caught the eyes of suitors from the middle east, and according to sky sports news, Al-hilal are hoping to sign the forward’ and a ‘delegation from the club is expected in London for the negotiations.
It comes as teams from Saudi Arabian have started to making big moves in the transfer window, with Al-hilal signing Kalidou Koulibaly from Chelsea and also said to be on the cusp of securing Manchester city midfielder Bernardo Silva.
The 26 year old gray in the meantime made his reggae boyz debut in Chicago on Saturday, where he set up Damion Lowe for his goal in Jamaica’s one-all draw against the united states in the opening game of the 2023 Concacaf Gold Cup.
The reggae Boyz return to action on Wednesday where they face Trinidad and Tobago.
