Commonwealth Games gold medalist Daniel Thomas-Dodd has blasted the Jamaica  Olympic Association  and  Jamaica’s  local track  and  field  governing  body  the  Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) for what she describes as the  lack   of  respect  shown  to  field  athletes  at  the  expense  of  track  athletes.

This  on  the  morning  when  the depleted  women’s  4 x 100  metres  relay  team was  the  only Jamaican  participant  to  make  progress  in  their  event at the Paris Olympic Games. 

Dodd who finished outside of qualification this morning after throwing the implement some 18.12 meters, did not mince words in her frustration about the treatment of field event athletes.
