Dancehall megastar Beenie Man set to honour the ‘Stepping Razor’ at Tosh Fest 2025

Dancehall megastar, Beenie Man, is set to grace the stage at Tosh Fest later this month, at the Peter Tosh Memorial Garden in Bluefields Westmoreland.

The event celebrating reggae icon Peter Tosh, also known as the Stepping Razor, returns this year as part of an ongoing initiative aimed at addressing disparities in the late superstar’s hometown and resting place.

Presented by the Peter Tosh Foundation, this free, family-oriented community festival slated for Sunday October 19, aims to celebrate Tosh’s legacy on what would have been his 81st birthday.

The festival will feature live performances, local vendors, family fun and a tribute ceremony in the reggae icon’s honour.

Peter Tosh, born Winston Hubert McIntosh was one of the core members of the Wailers Band and a successful solo artiste credited with major hits.

He was a relentless advocate for justice, equality, and the decriminalization of Marijuana. The Reggae Legend was murdered on September 11, 1987, during a home invasion in Kingston. He was only 42 years old.
