CXC says Mathematics and English A saw a drop in students’ performance in this year’s May – June exams
The Caribbean Examination Council (CXC) is reporting that Mathematics and English A saw a drop in students’ performance in this year’s sitting of the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC).
The exams were administered in May and June.
Director of Operations for Examination Services Dr. Nicole Manning gave the breakdown during the official release of the results, this morning.
Dr. Manning said the other subjects areas seeing a decline in performance are Principles Of Accounts, Integrated Science, Information Technology, French and Chemistry.
On the flip side she said Caribbean History, Social Studies, Physics, Office Administration and Human and Social Biology saw improved performances in comparison to last year.
The CXC results will be available to candidates today.
