The St. Ann’s Bay Traffic Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of two men and the injury of another in Runaway Bay, St. Ann today.

The deceased are Devon Richards of Pineapple Place, Ocho Rios and Tajay Evans of Browns Town.

Reports indicate that at about 2:50 a.m., Richards was driving a brown Honda Civic while Evans was in a white Mercedes-Benz along the main road.

Upon reaching a section of the roadway, the Mercedes collided with the Honda Civic, causing extensive damage to both vehicles.

Both drivers, as well as a man traveling in the Mercedes, sustained multiple injuries and were taken to the hospital.

The drivers were pronounced dead, while the third man was treated for his injuries.
