CPFSA providing support to relatives of 2 child victims of Sunday’s mass shooting in Cherry Tree Lane, Clarendon
The Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA) is providing support to the relatives of the two child victims of Sunday’s mass shooting in Cherry Tree Lane, Clarendon.
The incident left 8 persons dead, including a 7 year old boy.
Nine others were wounded including the younger brother of the deceased child.
Chief Executive Officer of the CPFSA Laurette Adams-Thomas, lamented that the mother of the 2 boys is grieving the loss of one child, while having to find the strength to continue to nurse her toddler back to health.
Mrs. Adams-Thomas stated that the agency is providing the necessary support to the distraught mother.
She has called for an end to the senseless violence against children.
