The Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA) says it has identified the school at which a recent bullying incident that was captured on video occurred.
The video of the incident involving two students has gone viral on social media.
The Agency says it will send its first responders team to the school today to provide counselling to the students involved.
Meantime, Chief Executive Officer of the CPFSA Laurette Adams-Thomas has described the incident as disturbing.
She said these incidents could lead to suicide attempts and other issues for the victims.
She called on students not to be afraid to speak out against bullying.
Adams-Thomas is also encouraging persons to report any forms of child abuse using the 24-hour child abuse reporting hotline at 211.
