The court of appeal is expected to rule on Wednesday if there will be a retrial for Dancehall entertainer Adidja “Vybz Kartel” Palmer and his co-appellants.

The matter has been set for 2PM.

Kartel along with Shawn ‘Shawn Storm’ Campbell, Kahira Jones and Andre St. John were sentenced to life imprisonment in 2014 for the 2011 murder of Clive ‘lizard’ Williams.

However, their murder convictions were quashed by the United Kingdom-based Privy Council in March because of jury tampering.

Last month submissions were made for and against the retrying of the men.

The appeal court said the ruling was to be expected before the end of July.
