A contract was signed this morning between the government and West Indies Home Contractors, for the construction of a state-of-the-art police headquarters in the St. Catherine North Division.

The 2.2 billion-dollar project is slated to serve Spanish Town and surrounding communities.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Police Commissioner, Dr. Kevin Blake, said the headquarters will boost the morale of lawmen, as they work to ensure the safety of citizens.
