The management of the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) has met with the police to discuss fuel theft and other issues at the state-owned bus company.

Transport Minister Daryl Vaz said the meetings looked at how the police can provide more assistance to the JUTC.

He is also awaiting a report from the police about this week’s fire at the JUTC Headquarters in Spanish Town, St Catherine.

The Transport Minister said the issues at JUTC must be dealt with.
