Minister of Industry, Investment and Commerce Aubyn Hill is urging business owners to provide training for their employees, in an effort to boost productivity.

Senator Hill made the call at the Amber Group’s 10th anniversary gala and artificial intelligence innovation showcase on Tuesday.

He said business operators must provide training for their employees, as part of efforts to up-skill the labour force.

He said artificial intelligence is crucial in doing this.

He also urged business operators to do their best to grow exports, noting that this is key to economic expansion.
