Clean-up activities are continuing in John’s Hall, St. James after heavy rain led to flooding on Saturday.

Videos circulated on social media show the raging flood waters.

One video captured two cars being swept away.

Homes and business places were also damaged.

Councillor for the Spring Mount Division, Uvel Graham told IRIE FM news that approximately a dozen significant landslides occurred between Spring Mount and Johns Hall.

He says an assessment of the damage is being undertaken to determine how to assist the residents.
