Classes at Excelsior Primary and Infant School suspended today following death of school’s Vice Principal at the weekend
Classes at the Excelsior Primary and Infant School have been suspended today (June 6) following the death of a member of the school’s faculty.
Vice Principal, Shirley Pinnock is among two teachers who reportedly passed at the weekend.
The second educator, Delores McFarlane taught at the Discovery Ball All-Age and Infant School.
The deaths of the educators were confirmed by President of the Jamaica Teachers Association, Winston Smith.
Mr Smith noted that he will be visiting with the staff at both institutions.
Mr Smith urged members of the teaching profession to prioritize their health.
