Clarendon teacher accused of sexually assaulting 14-year-old girl granted $2M bail
A Clarendon teacher accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl has been granted two million dollars bail.
34-year-old David Osbourne is charged with sexual grooming, abduction of a person under 16 years, having sexual intercourse with a person under 16 years, and grievous sexual assault.
The offences allegedly took place between 2019 and 2022.
It is reported that on May 19 this year, the girl left home and did not return.
Two days later, she was found at Osbourne’s home and he was arrested and charged.
Osbourne was also ordered to live outside the parish and to not have any contact with the complainant.
He is to return to court on July 21.
