The Christiana High School Community in Manchester is in shock following the gruesome murder of a 13-year-old student Shantina Sergeant

Shantina’s mutilated and burnt body was found at her home in Baillieston on the Clarendon/Manchester border last evening.

Shantina would have celebrated her 14th birthday today.

Principal Leecent Wallace says the school atmosphere is tense.

Mr. Wallace said it is alleged that the child was reported missing since Friday October 3; however, school records show that Shantina’s last day at school was on Wednesday October 1.
