Chris Gayle set to wear the West Indies maroon and gold again
Jamaica and West Indies batting superstar Chris Gayle is set to wear the West Indies maroon and gold again, when he makes a return to the pitch in the upcoming International Masters T/20 league which bowls off tomorrow in India.
The 45 year old Gayle, is a two-time T/20 World Cup winner, is part of the West Indies 15-member squad selected for the tournament.
Lara will lead the west indies team, that also features Dwayne Smith, Lendl Simmons, Denesh Ramdin, Chadwick Walton, Ashley Nurse, Narsingh Deonarine, Sulieman Benn, Fidel Edwards, Ravi Rampaul, Tino Best, Jerome Taylor, Kirk Edwards and William Perkins.
The Twenty20 extravaganza runs from February 22 to March 16 with matches at the Dr Dy Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai.
Sachin Tendulkar will lead India and Kumar Sangakarra is the captain for Lead Sri Lanka.
The other teams are Australia, South Africa, and England.
