China has donated over (JM) $7m to support Jamaica’s recovery efforts, following Hurricane Beryl.

The donation was presented to Foreign Affairs Minister Senator Kamina Johnson Smith, by the Chinese ambassador on Tuesday. 

Mrs. Johnson Smith expressed gratitude for the donation and  acknowledged the long-standing and robust friendship shared between the two countries.
