Children’s Advocate Diahann Gordon Harrison has expressed concern about the ongoing acts of violence against the nation’s children.

This following the death of 12-year-old Kevaughn Fearon. 

Kevaughn was killed when gunmen opened fire on the vehicle in which he, his mother and another person were travelling, yesterday.

The incident occurred at about 7:27am, at the intersection of Lindsay Crescent and Dunrobin Avenue, in St. Andrew.

Kevaughn’s mother who was driving the vehicle also sustained gunshot wounds in the incident.

She remains in hospital.

The other person was un-harmed.

The police are probing the incident.

In condemning Kevaughn’s murder Mrs. Harrison expressed hope that the perpetrators will be brought to justice.
