Residents of Charles Town and Three Hills Districts in St. Mary staged a peaceful protest this afternoon over the imposition of curfews in their communities.
The residents chanted as they marched from their communities to the nearby Retreat Police Station.
They are demanding answers from the police as they believe they are not being properly informed about curfew hours.
According to the residents, the curfew starts at 6 PM and runs from Wednesdays to Sundays.
They also stated that this is a great inconvenience as these are the hours in which they do business.
While disgruntled about the curfew hours, the residents say they are willing to work with the police and are demanding an urgent meeting.
