Chairman of the Police Officers’ Association (POA) Senior Superintendent Wayne Cameron said the Police Commissioner does not have the authority to remove him from the post.

Speaking with IRIE FM News this afternoon, SSP Cameron added that Dr. Kevin Blake did not speak to him on the matter.

He explained that the POA does not represent the commissioner.

SSP Cameron pointed out that the Commissioner’s directive came, after he filed a complaint with the police service commission, against him.
