Chief Executive Officer of Regency Petroleum Limited in Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland, Andrew Williams has sought to assure stakeholders that the service station and company offices were not affected by yesterday’s fire.

Mr. Williams explained that the fire only destroyed a warehouse affiliated with the business.

The blaze reportedly started sometime after 3:00 P.M.

Up to late last night, firefighters were reportedly trying to contain it.

Mr. Williams noted that he is grateful that no one was hurt and that the service station was spared.
