Cavalier without several of their regular starters  suffered a two nil loss against the US Major League side FC Cincinnati . 

This in their Concacaf Champions cup first leg match at the National Stadium last night. 

The visitors went in-front after 50 minutes when sergio santos fired home a low cross from inside the box….., then the 21 year old malik pinto doubled the lead three minutes from time, when he scored his first senior goal for Cincinnati, with a well placed strike from just inside the 18 yard box, after picking up a back – heel pass from team -mate Arquímides Or-dóñez.  

The reigning supporters’ shield winners Cincinnati are now in a solid position before the February 28 return leg at the TQL stadium, with a possible round-of-16 showdown against  Liga MX Titans CF Monterrey.

The 2-nil advantage also gives cincinnati ….two away goals and as well as momentum ahead of their February 25 MLS regular-season opener against Toronto FC .
