The National Works Agency and the Jamaica Civil Service Association are to meet next Tuesday May 26 to discuss a number of concerns raised by workers.
As a result , the JCSA is urging members to return to work today pending discussions with management and the finance ministry.

The Meteorological Service says it's actively monitoring emerging climate patterns indicating the expected development of an El NiƱo phenomenon, which could influence rainfall and temperature conditions across the island in the coming months. While Jamaica experienced above-average rainfall across much of the traditional dry season between January and April, recent observations have shown a shift toward warmer and drier conditions in several areas of the country.
