Health Minister, Dr. Christopher Tufton says the Cornwall Regional Hospital in St. James is on track to return to its pre-hurricane Melissa operating capacity within the next one to two weeks. Providing an update at a media briefing in Montego Bay yesterday, Dr. Tufton said the facility has seen significant improvements since the Category 5 hurricane in October 2025.

He has been identified as Collin Mowatt, otherwise called ‘tumpa’ or ‘tumpa dragon’. Reports indicate that at about 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2006, Mowatt allegedly approached a woman with two firearms and shot her before fleeing the parish.
