Jamaica's improving crime situation, stable economy and major post hurricane melissa rebuilding programme are helping to put the country on the radar of more American investors.
That's according to State Minister of Investment Delano Seiveright.
Mayor of Kingston, Andrew Swaby is among 56 mayors from 15 countries who have joined the tenth class of the Bloomberg Harvard city leadership initiative in the United States.
The programme forms part of work led by Bloomberg Philanthropies, through the government innovation programme, to strengthen mayoral leadership and local government, across the globe.
