Jamaica National (JN) Bank says it achieved over $2.29 billion before tax for the financial year ended March 31, 2026.
Net profit amounted to $1.45 billion, more than three times the prior year’s result of $439 million.

Opposition Leader Mark Golding has called on the Government to tell the nation how the country will benefit from the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between Jamaica and the United States relating to Third-Country Nationals. According to the Government, the MOU will provide for Third-Country Nationals transferred from the U.S., to transit through Jamaica to their final destination.
The deceased has not been identified. Reports are that about 9:00 PM passersby stumbled on the torso in bushes and alerted the police.
Two Jamaican farm workers lost their lives in a motor vehicle collision in Ontario Canada yesterday.
The labour ministry identified them as David Lindsay of Lawrence Tavern, St. Andrew, and Rupert Bell of Old Harbour, St. Catherine.
