A flash flood watch is in effect for eastern and south-central parishes, until 5 pm tomorrow.
This as heavy rains continue to affect sections of the island.
Parishes under the watch are St. Mary, Portland, St. Thomas, Kingston, St. Andrew, St. Catherine and Clarendon.
Several roadways in Portland have been rendered impassable following heavy rainfall.
Some of the roads are flooded, while others are being impacted by silt or landslides.
Prime Minister Andrew Holness, National Security Minister Dr. Horace Chang and Police Commissioner, Dr. Kevin Blake are doing a walk through in Waltham Park Road, St. Andrew, following 2 deadly shooting incidents in the community, last evening.
6 people were shot, 5 fatally in separate incidents, in the 75 and 83 Lane communities.
Opposition Leader Mark Golding says Prime Minister Andrew Holness' speech at the Jamaica Labour Party's annual conference on Sunday, was filled with empty promises.
During the speech, Mr. Holness made several announcements, including that the General Consumption Tax, GCT, on electricity will be reduced from 15 to 7 per cent starting next year.
Four men are dead after they were shot and wounded along Waltham Park Road, in St. Andrew last evening.
