IRIE FM News understands that about 3 separate incidents, involving approximately 12 students, were reported at the institution. Director of the Education Ministry's region five, Susan Nelson Smith told IRIE FM News that four children were treated at hospital for injuries.
The Jamaica Constabulary Force, (JCF) has pledged to maintain a presence at the Stella Maris Preparatory School in St. Andrew, following a reported threat to the institution. The school reportedly got a video message which showed a man in a mask making threats.
This morning's sitting of the Senate commenced with a tribute to late former Government Senator, Leslie Campbell. Mr. Campbell, who was battling an illness for some time, passed away on Sunday, May 3.

The Queen’s School Alumnae has condemned the attack, even as it called for persons to stop the social media sharing, in a bid to protect the young girl.
