Laing is the only survivor of a house fire at her home in Westmoreland five years ago; her three younger brothers perished.

He noted that the workshop comes at a critical time, as illegal firearms continue to fuel murders, robberies, and other violent crimes across the country.
The demerit system comes under the new Road Traffic Act passed in 2018.
Speaking at a press conference on the demerit point system implementation, the minister noted that motorists have until September 30 to clear their traffic tickets.
