The Jamaica Constabulary Force said through targeted operations by the Firearms and Narcotics Investigation Division (FNID), the police significantly disrupted transnational organised crime networks. In the first six months of 2026, FNID seized more cocaine than for the combined total of six consecutive years, from 2016 to 2021. It is also the highest amount seized in the past ten years.
