Charged with two counts of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, possession of prohibited weapon, possession of prohibited ammunition and using a firearm to commit a felony are Junior Brown and Macarius Monroe otherwise called ' Macky'. The charges stem from the killing of 30-year-old Charles Stewart and 32-year-old Jemarie Gordon on November 13.

The names of the deceased have not been released. Reports are that at about 4:00 PM, lawmen in the area intercepted a motor car with several men aboard. Its alleged that men exited the car, armed with handguns.

This follows yesterday's visit of former United States President Bill Clinton, who established the foundation. In a post on social media , Ms Grange said Mr. Clinton was taken on an aerial tour to observe the damage caused by the category 5 hurricane.

Over US$70000 has been allocated under the Jamaica Resilient Recovery Initiative (JARRI) to accelerate livelihood recovery for youth farmers, fisherfolk, as well as Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMES) severely impacted by Hurricane Melissa. The grant, funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) multi-country office in Jamaica, is being channelled through the Jamaica 4-H Foundation 2016 Limited.
