Guardsman Group says an employee who was injured in a fire at the company's garage compound on May 27 has died. The company gave the update in a statement this afternoon.

The death toll from Friday night’s two-motorcycle collision in Little London, Westmoreland has risen to three after another person succumbed to injuries in hospital yesterday. The deceased have been identified as 18-year-old construction worker Obrian Bruce of Shrewsbury District, Westmoreland, 41-year-old labourer Donald McKenzie of Little London and 36-year-old Darren Bryan of Old Hope District, Little London.

The National Children’s Registry (NCR) received over 14,000 reports of child abuse and other care and protection concerns in 2025, representing a 5% increase over the number of reports received in 2024.
