Colombian national among 3 men slapped with drug related charges following cocaine seizure last week
Charged are 48-year-old Jonathan Daluqua Latarda, a fisherman of Rio Cocha, Colombia; 48-year-old Delbert Passelle, otherwise called Glen, a boat captain of Cove District, Lucea Hanover; and 42 year-old Leroy Holding, otherwise called Bud, a fisherman of Poorman’s Corner, Yallahs in St. Thomas.
This as Pan Caribbean has issued a product recall notice. The recall specifically relates to packaged brown sugar in sizes 0.5 kilogrammes, one kilogramme and 2 kilogrammes, with manufacturing dates March 30 to April 12, 2026.
They are 47-year-old Dwayne Barnett, an electrician of Norbrook Crescent in Kingston and 49-year-old Moroslay Lyken of Brooklyn, New York in the United States of America.
The men were held by detectives assigned to the Firearms and Narcotics Investigation Division (FNID) following separate operations conducted at Barnett's residence and at the Norman Manley International Airport, NMIA in Kingston between Thursday April 23 and Saturday April 25.
A litre of E- 10 87 and 90 gasoline will each cost $4.50 more.
So, too, will a litre of kerosene, automotive diesel oil and ultra low sulphur diesel.
The National Works Agency (NWA) made the revelation during this morning's meeting of the Public Administration & Appropriation Committee, PAAC.
NWA's Senior Director of Project Implementation, Varden Downer described the damage as not significant noting that roadways completed before the Hurricane effectively withstood the category 5 winds and conditions.
