The mace is a ceremonial symbol of the authority of the house and the speaker. Mrs. Brown Burke reportedly touched the mace while the National Reconstruction and Resilience Authority (NARRA) Bill was being examined.
The deceased has been identified as Gary Allwood of Love Lane District. Police reports are about 1:59 PM, the two had a dispute, during which a pair of scissors and a knife were used to stab the father.
Dead are 25-year-old Constable Keron Kellyman, who was attached to the Highway Patrol Division in St. Thomas and 31-year-old electrician, Dwight Robinson of White Hall District in the parish. The incident occurred around 10:45 P.M. along the Seaforth main road.
