Jamaica Teachers' Association (JTA) President Mark Malabver says the union will soon approach the Government regarding special compensation for teachers in western parishes affected by Hurricane Melissa.
While not divulging specific details, Mr. Malabver said there are policies that outline how teachers and schools are to be treated in the aftermath of hurricanes and other natural disasters.
The accused are 46-year-old Nickeisha Evans of Darley Crescent, St. Andrew; 39-year-old Tanese Wade of Mount Friendship, Mount James, also in St. Andrew and 35-year-old Joedi Kay Harrison of Dunoon Road, Kingston 2.
