Observer group, Citizens Action for Free and Fair Elections, (CAFFE) said despite few minor incidents, observers reported that voting in the four by-elections today, went smoothly. CAFFE's, Deputy Chairman Anton Thompson said reports of incidents including voter intimidation were received from observers in the Aenon Town Division.

Voting is progressing smoothly in the four by-elections in the constituencies of Trelawny Southern and St. Andrew North Western, as well as the divisions of Aenon Town in Clarendon and Morant Bay in St. Thomas. The Electoral Office of Jamaica (EOJ) said all polling stations opened on time for the by-elections.
