Track and Field  legend and American Sprinter Carl Lewis has been selected as the World Athletics Ambassador for the World Athletics Relays in Bahamas, from May 4 to 5.

The nine-time Olympic Champion who claimed five global 4x100m titles during his incredible career will be trackside as the sport’s current stars look to secure Olympic places.

The eight time World Champion expressed that the thrill of the competition is like nothing else and he is looking forward to watch the worlds best in their bid to qualify for the Olympic Games in Paris.

The World Athletics relays, formerly IAAF World Relays, will feature over 40 nations racing in women’s and men’s 4 by 100 meters and 4 by 400 meters and also mixed 4 by 400 meters relay.
