Carib Cement resumes dispatch operations at its Rockfort Plant

Carib Cement says following devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa it is ready to meet the construction needs of residents.

This as the company has successfully resumed cement dispatch operations at its Rockfort Plant.

Carib Cement said after verifying the wellbeing of its employees and contractors, it conducted safety inspections and restoration activities to ensure the plant was structurally sound before resuming operations.

Managing Director Jorge Martinez said the company also holds over 33,000 tonnes of clinker, which can produce 44,000 tonnes of cement. 

He lauded employees for the swift and effective recovery.
