Burning Spear set to ignite inaugural staging of Reggae Jam International Festival in Jamaica
Two-time Grammy winner Winston Rodney more popularly known as Burning Spear is set to perform at Jamaica’s inaugural staging of the Reggae Jam International Festival.
The Reggae icon, a product of St. Ann, has not performed in Jamaica for over 18 years and will ignite the stage with other industry heavy weights such as Tanya Stephens, Beenie Man, Etana, Gramps Morgan, Queen Ifrika, Busy Signal, among others at the two-day festival slated for June 14 and 15 at Reggae Park 420 Escape, in Trelawny.
Reggae Jam International is a staple summer festival which has been held in Germany for the last thirty years.
Dubbed Europe’s most authentic Reggae event, the festival’s staging in Jamaica is endorsed by the German Embassy in Jamaica and Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport.
