Grammy-winning reggae icon Buju Banton is making the rounds across the Tri-state area as he continues promoting his 13th studio album, Too Too Bad.

As part of the Citi Concert Series on NBC’s Today, Buju joined Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones live in Studio 1a, where he delivered a captivating performance of Butterflies, the lead track from the new album. During his appearance, Buju spoke about the inspiration behind the project.

The Gargamel also appeared on the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, on Monday, July 20, performing the same track. The performance was elevated by a stage design consisting of sound boxes and crates filled with records celebrating Jamaica’s rich musical heritage.

This marks Buju’s second appearance on The Tonight Show. The reggae icon was a guest in 2020 performing The World is Changing from his critically acclaimed album Upside Down 2020.
