Local Government Minister Desmond McKenzie has sought to assure residents of Browns Town St. Ann that repair work will begin on the transportation centre soon.

Mr. McKenzie said his ministry is awaiting the estimates for the project which will then trigger approval and disbursement of funds. 

He was speaking yesterday at the official opening of renovated bathroom facilities at the Ocho Rios market.
