Bounty Killer supports US Economic Blackout

Dancehall heavyweight Bounty Killer has added his voice to support the Economic Blackout Movement in the United States calling for financial protest against several major corporations.

In an Instagram post, The Poor People’s Governor, shared a flyer imploring fans not to spend any money today February 28 with the traitors, in his caption the outspoken dancehall icon, urged fans to hit corporations where it hurts most, further adding, “we can do this, mi nuh have no money fi spend Friday February 28.”

The call to action, comes as the prices of essentials such as groceries continue to rise, added to the housing market being frozen and U.S. credit card debt reaching a record high.

The campaign calls for consumers to halt spending online or instore and not use credit or debit cards for 24 hours today February 28, in an attempt to disrupt the economic order and take back control of the US economy, government and future of the country.

Bounty’s post accompanied by the sounds of his 1996 hit song, Poor People Fed Up, has garnered a myriad of support, receiving thousands of likes, comments and shares with many supporters calling for global boycott of major corporations.
