Bomb threat resulted in St Mary High moving classes online today
A bomb threat has resulted in St Mary High moving classes online today (June 5).
The school indicates that only students sitting CXC and CAPE examinations are on campus.
Reports are that after the school and authorities were alerted to the threat, which was sent via voice note, security forces and fire personnel arrived at the school and a search was undertaken.
After clearance was given, the students sitting external exams were allowed to remain at school, while the others were sent home.
It is understood that the school also sent out a message to parents to keep their children at home.
This incident at St Mary High in Highgate, followed a bomb threat in Ocho Rios St Ann yesterday.
